AEROPRESS

Produces a punchy strongly flavoured coffee, with the mouthfeel of a double-shot Americano.
Notes:  Dark chocolate, oak, burnt toffee
Kopi:  15g
Water:  255g @ 90˚C
Kit:  AeroPress (inverted), AeroPress Stirrer
Filter Prep: Rinsed with hot water
Time:  2-3 minutes 
  1. Add Nanyang Kopi Powder to inverted Aeropress, top up with 30g water and stir 10 times
  2. Bloom / Saturate for 30 seconds
  3. Pour 150g hot water, stir 10 times
  4. Steep for 30 seconds
  5. Stir once more and place cap with filter into position
  6. Turn over, place over your cup and plunge slowly for 45 seconds
  7. Dilute with 75g water to serve black. Add less water when serving with milk (evaporated or condensed provides the most traditional flavour)
  8. Add sugar to taste.

N.B.
  • Over steeping leads to a more bitter brew. Keep an eye on the timing.
